JCU Professional Development Workshop for Teachers

JCU welcomes you to a professional development teacher workshop to support high school educators in the classroom. The workshop seminars are designed in alignment with the high school curriculum and to assist in supporting teachers in the delivery of specific areas.

The one-day program features consecutive sessions throughout the day focusing on a variety of subject learning areas across the middle and senior school curriculum including Science, Mathematics and Humanities. Check out the program for the Townsville location and choose your workshops for the day.

*Please note. The Cairns PD workshop will run in 2023.

Travel subsidy and FAQs

We understand the cost burden travelling may have on schools and we want to encourage everyone with the opportunity to participate. Please select this as part of your registration and we will contact you with more information.

Travel subsidies are for 2 teachers per school that reside more than 200km from the Townville JCU Campus.

Flights, overnight on campus accommodation, workshop meals and group transfers will be included.
