What is TeacherX? TeacherX is a new signature event in 2021 and will be an immersive, on-campus experience for educators.

TeacherX will provide school staff with the chance to explore the unique facilities many of their graduates are enjoying as well as a continuing professional development opportunity.

This year’s TeacherX will be held at JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas on 29 and 30 March or at the JCU Cairns, Nguma-bada campus, Smithfield on 31 March and 1 April.
Yes, attending one day is possible but we believe you’ll get the most out of attending the two-day program.
Absolutely, the two programs have been designed to run concurrently so that you can visit JCU Townsville, Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas and JCU Cairns, Nguma-bada campus, Smithfield.
We recognise the important role educators play in providing inspiring information and advice to students, and invite all Principals, Guidance Officers, and Teachers to experience JCU first hand.
Yes, we’ll provide you with a certificate of attendance after the event.
